Laura Fritsch about rise

This month we ask five questions to Laura Fritsch from Vienna. Laura is what some would call multi-talented, she has many strengths, is professionally flexible and is constantly developing and rising. We met her at Body Concept in the 1st district during a Mindful Body Class. We were deeply impressed by her energy and her ability to pass it on to other people. That's why we were curious and asked her a few questions about “Rise”.

Dear Laura, how are you and what are you currently dealing with?

I’m doing pretty good. I do struggle a bit with the current season but soon spring is here 🙂 Right now I’m planning on some specials for 2024 and as far as I can say, there is a lot to come.

Laura, you have already experienced a lot professionally and have developed in many directions - what drives you?

I actually never knew what I was going to do with my life and what profession I wanna work in but there is one thing or better said feeling which was always there - make sure that the people around me feel good. I want people to leave with a smile on their face regardless of where I met them.

What do you think it takes to develop yourself further or to rise?

I think it takes a lot of time and courage to work on oneself. When you know yourself, when you are aware of your strengths and the things which are not, you can always find a new point of direction where you can grow from. And of course, the surrounding you live, the people who support you are a huge point of one’s personal growth.

Higher, faster, further - have we ever "arrived" or are we "satisfied", or are we constantly driven by an inner restlessness to constantly develop and rise? What do you think? What’s your experience?

When we are save within ourself, I do feel like we can reach a good point of happiness and from my point of view, that’s what life is about. I do understand that people wanna push themself or wanna become that “better version” but sometimes all we have to do is taking a break to see what we have reached so far. Because who actually tells us what’s the best version of oneself?

Why have you decided to share your energy with other people?

Isn't that also something very intimate and personal about yourself? When I do it, it feels really natural and I get a lot of energy back from my students. I can say that I found something which I don’t see as work - I really enjoy doing it and as I can choose how much I want to share, I feel safe in what I’m doing. When we share a tool, where we can come back to us, we can create a whole different mind.
